BSc. Aviation Theoretics

Program Overview

Aviation College of the Americas offers a comprehensive BSc. Degree in Aviation Theoretics. Our program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in aviation knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the aviation industry.

This program contains 90% Aviation related modules that are geared towards familiarizing students with:

The Private Pilot License (PPL) Written Exam

The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Written Exam

Aspects of the Instrument Rating (IR)

        Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).

The program also includes non-aviation related modules intended to improve student competence and viability at non-native English-speaking airlines, specifically conversational French and Spanish.

Also included in the program is the mastery of the English Language for those students with different levels of standard English, with an emphasis on accepted international pronunciations.

Full-time students complete the Bsc. Program in three (3) academic years and part-time students are offered a range of combinations to complete the program in five (5) academic years.

The program not only facilitates those who want to become aviators but also the minority who does not necessarily wish to pursue our on offer piloting skills training, so other aspects other than piloting aircrafts are included.

Several of our students have been employed at airports in jobs ranging from customer service to signal personnel to aircraft, crew scheduling and bagging station managers.

The College has airplanes available for students to see practical use and knowledge of the airplane. Though no flight training is issued at this institution, all students are still offered flights onboard airplanes to experience the delight of flying. Flight training is encouraged at our flight school Bright Future Aviation Academy located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
